At Destinations Morocco, we are committed to protecting the privacy of personal information in our custody or control. This Privacy Policy explains how Destinations Morocco collects, uses, and discloses personal information, and the measures we have implemented to protect the personal information provided to us. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected, used, disclosed, or processed by Destinations Morocco in the course of its business.
Destinations Morocco is a direct ground tour operator headquartered in Houston, Texas, with an office in Marrakech, Morocco, serving travelers globally, with our primary markets in the United States and Canada.
As a provider of travel tour operator services, Destinations Morocco works with both individual travelers booking directly ("Travelers") and travel advisors and agencies ("Advisor Partners") who book on behalf of their own clients. Where an Advisor Partner submits a Traveler's information to us on the Traveler's behalf, the Advisor Partner is responsible for confirming they have the Traveler's consent to do so, consistent with the terms of this Policy.
In addition to this Privacy Policy, Destinations Morocco is subject to applicable privacy legislation in the jurisdictions in which it operates, which may include the privacy laws of a foreign jurisdiction ("Privacy Laws"). Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits Destinations Morocco's rights and obligations under such Privacy Laws.
Destinations Morocco is committed to a high standard of privacy and complies with applicable United States and Canadian privacy legislation, including federal and state/provincial law in these jurisdictions, and adopts the ten principles for the protection of personal information set out below (the "Privacy Principles"):

1. Accountability
Destinations Morocco is responsible for personal information in its custody or under its control, including any personal information transferred to a third party for processing. Destinations Morocco requires a comparable level of protection for personal information handled by its third-party contractors.
2. Identifying Purposes
Destinations Morocco identifies the purposes for which personal information is collected, at or before the time the information is collected. When previously collected personal information is to be used for a new purpose, that new purpose will be identified prior to use.
The primary purposes for which Destinations Morocco collects personal information include:
- to establish and maintain relationships with Travelers and Advisor Partners;
- to provide travel tour operator services, including making travel arrangements on behalf of Travelers and reporting on travel data to Advisor Partners where applicable;
- to understand Traveler needs and preferences, including special requirements;
- to obtain payment for services;
- to develop, enhance, market, or provide products and services;
- to manage and develop Destinations Morocco's business and operations;
- to conduct surveys and promotions; and
- to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Consent
The knowledge and consent of the individual are required for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, except where required or permitted by law.
The personal information collected by Destinations Morocco may include, but is not limited to: name, address, age, marital status, passport and visa information, emergency contact, email, phone number, financial information, and (where applicable) agency/corporate data.
Destinations Morocco may also collect sensitive personal information related to a Traveler's travel arrangements (such as disabilities, allergies, and other medical information or special needs) to help the Traveler obtain appropriate accommodations, but only if the Traveler submits such information to us directly. If a Traveler does not want us to collect this sensitive information, they should not submit it. Destinations Morocco will not share a Traveler's sensitive personal information with a third party unless authorized to do so by the Traveler.
To complete requested travel arrangements, Destinations Morocco may input a Traveler's personal information into our tour management system or provide it to relevant travel suppliers (such as airlines, hotels, and ground transportation providers, "Suppliers"). Destinations Morocco does not exercise control over personal information once transmitted to a Supplier. By submitting personal information to Destinations Morocco, a Traveler authorizes its use and disclosure as necessary to complete requested travel arrangements. Information transferred to a Supplier is used by that Supplier according to its own privacy policy, and may be subject to the Privacy Laws of a foreign jurisdiction. Additionally, government and law enforcement authorities may have access to a Traveler's personal information under applicable security screening protocols.
A Traveler may choose not to have personal information disclosed to third parties under this Policy; however, if a Traveler chooses not to submit personal information, or not to allow Destinations Morocco to share it with a Supplier as needed, Destinations Morocco may not be able to provide the requested travel services.
By contacting Destinations Morocco and requesting travel services, an individual consents to the collection, use, or disclosure of their personal information for the purposes identified in Section 2. A Traveler may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@destinationsmorocco.com, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal of consent does not have retroactive effect.
4. Limiting Collection
Destinations Morocco limits the collection of personal information to that which is necessary for the identified purposes, and collects such information by fair and lawful means only.
5. Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention
Destinations Morocco uses or discloses personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, unless the individual has otherwise consented, or as required or permitted by law. Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
Personal information is accessible only to employees or agents with a legitimate business need, and any employee who misuses personal information is subject to discipline, up to and including termination.
6. Accuracy
Destinations Morocco maintains personal information in as accurate, complete, and up-to-date a form as necessary for its intended use, and relies on the accuracy of information submitted directly by the Traveler.
7. Safeguards
Personal information is protected by security safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. Destinations Morocco takes reasonable steps to protect information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification, using physical, administrative, and technological safeguards.
Credit card information is transmitted using standard SSL encryption. Travelers should use caution when disclosing personal information by phone or other electronic media, as Destinations Morocco has no control over third-party communication providers.
Destinations Morocco will never rent or sell a Traveler's personal financial information. Employees with access to personal information are bound by confidentiality obligations.
8. Website Data, Cookies, and Tracking
Our website is built on the Ontraport platform, which may collect certain information automatically when you visit our site or submit a form, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and form submission data. This information is used to operate our website, respond to inquiries (such as Travel Agent's Playbook requests), and for marketing purposes such as email communications.
9. Openness

10. Individual Access
Upon request, an individual will be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of their personal information and given access to it, and may request correction of inaccuracies. Destinations Morocco will use good-faith efforts to provide Travelers and Advisor Partners the opportunity to review and revise the personal information we have collected, subject to the provisions of this Policy and applicable Privacy Laws.
